Front Hall Dresser...Fake Peonies

On a pine dresser in our front hall
I always like to have cut flowers or a plant.
Now there are lots of beautiful flowers out there right now.
But sometimes I have in between times, and sometimes these fake peonies come out.
(These postcards are so sweet too aren't they!)

This is also fake Lavendar,
I just saw some real topiaries of this delightfully scented plant at the grocery store so tomorrow I will be getting that!

I also have a candle on the dresser and usually in a better container than this!
And a piece of our Chinese Import Pottery.

We are having sun this weekend!

Have you any special plans?

Friends In France!

France On A Shoestring......
Friends of ours have an apartment in France!
I thought you would love to read about their home away from home & their travels.
They have a blog titled "France On A Shoestring"...and give wonderful tips on how to have a great sensibly priced time in France!

A few fabulous pictures from their blog.

We haven't been to France but I can now live vicariously through our friends!

Have you ever been to France?

Wether you have or have not you will love this informative, fun blog!
(As I was linking up, their last entry is amazing!...I guess its kinda like going to our thrift stores...NOT! pop over.)

Of all the treasures TURQUOISE paints its brush across
I believe the universal favorite
May be these Jars!

Do you agree?
Some of these jars are my Grandmothers.

Turquoise Tuesday # 2 & Mothers Day!

Isn't it wonderful that Mothers Day
(here in Canada this coming Sunday)
And the Blooming of
Lily Of The Valleys
Happen so close together!

I am sure I showed this TeaCup last year,
but it deserves another mention!

I should have never sold this TeaCup!
But I am sure it is in a good home!

Do you ever have regrets in not keeping something?

Happy Cinco de Mayo

I don't have any pictures to really celebrate
Cinco de Mayo
But the artist in this story is a
living in Mexico
I love his work.

This is a cottage I did
Crescent Beach
with these two talented ladies.

We had a little
Cinco de Mayo
celebration last night with friends.
(Really just an excuse to have a get together & a Beerita!
Today we rest!
The weather is fabulous!
What are you doing today?
